Pineberry anyone?

YES PLEASE.Some might say anaemic strawberrys, i say a taste sensation. They combine the shape and texture of a strawberry with the taste and smell of pineapples and can be purchased from any good waitrose..unfortunately my local could not provide so i had to resort to strasberries. Yes, that's right, strawberry rasberries. Life just got good.

I went to see The Foals

AND MY GOD WERE THEY GOOD.

This is their newest song, Spanish Sahara, the video really reminds me of Spike Jonze's direction of Where The Wild Things Are. Tres atmospheric and epic, definitely THE song of 2010.

Better late forever

I have a valid excuse.
I've been off skiing in the italian alps daaaahlin...

It was an absolute delight of a holiday-although the 5am bed times and 8am starts weren't so well received, we all just manned-up and had another Jagerbomb("LADS!").

Sadly i wasn't able to take any shots of me gliding down the slopes looking like a pro-boarder, and the majority of my photographs were whilst i was slightly too inebriated to function. However, i bring gifts of a different kind. Whilst there we were set the challenge of a "P" fancy dress night, needless to say the costumes were inventive;

Now although this may not seem very much to do with Fashion, i beg to differ my friends. I was going to go with a simple Peter Andre outfit however i thought i'd go with the creativity and decided to create a definite winner of 2 peas in a pod.Boom.

Fang Island

Primarily instrumental, finger tapping guitar lines and chanted vocals... they describe themselves as the cool version of classic rock— the type of anthemic pop — without the cheesiness — that you wished Journey and Boston could’ve made.

Anthropologie is a total dream.

Absolutely adore all of the visual merchandising in Anthropologie, so creative and nothing like anything we do here.

Day 1
Arrived at airport very tired, checked in and then went and wandered around for a bit. Abbie, Charley and I formulated the ingenious plan to wait outside the departures lounge whilst everyone got on the plane, then once everyone was on we would be able to get a free upgrade to first class...to no avail, we were bitterly rejected twice.
After a hefty 8 hour journey we arrived in New York, where we were told by a man at a security desk that the men of New York would be lucky to have us. Good start.
Eventually we got on to our bus and made our way to the hotel (whilst on the bus everyone started taking manic pictures of yellow school buses and taxis). Abbie, Charley, Jess, Roxy, Amber, Georgie, Rhianna and I went to go and get some Knicks tickets as soon as we'd dropped of our luggage for the following evening, then we walked over to Planet Hollywood and enjoyed a $20 burger which wasn't so great.
On the way back, we walked past a homeless guy holding a sign reading;
"mi wuz yu pweez fid mi"
I wanted to take a picture but Jess wouldn't let me.

Day 2
Woke up at 6 am and watched fantastically shit American TV for 3 hours. We effectively took over FIT that morning when we saw both the American Beauty and Night and Day exhibitions.

We then strolled down through Soho and Chelsea toward the Staten Island Ferry

I found a cafe with my name and got extremely excited.

Went to Ground Zero Museum which was amazing, they had actual recovered pieces of the planes in there which was surreal.
On the way to the Staten Island Ferry we saw the fattest pigeon on earth, street dancers and elmo..

Whilst we were waiting for the ferry i sat sat down on the floor and was accosted by a woman asking whether i would like some "roaches in my purse". Staten Island was wicked, then went over to Rockafeller and hit Anthropologie, Forever 21 and all that jazz.

The Knicks were absolutely incredible, nothing like English sport. In every break they had some form of entertainment, and everyone in the crowd got so in to it.
We also encountered the fattest man we'd ever seen...

And so it begins

To be honest, I don't like blogging. Having an entire webpage solely dedicated to me and my interests seems slightly too self-obsessed, however as part of my course i have to write one...boo.
Anyway, down with the negativity, this is going to be great...
